Antique, large, expressive wooden mask from the Himalaya, representing Kali, the Hindu goddess master of death, time and change. Used for ceremonies and ritual dances. Made in strong heavy wood, painted with green, red, yellow and white pigments, by now faded away. Has a long tongue and pointed ears attached with nails. Has a nice patina from age and handling (In hands give a nice feeling of age and solidity), signs of wear and tear but is in overall great condition.
