Very detailed figure depicting the Hindu goddess Kali, wife of Shiva, goddess of destruction and death. She is represented with many arms, sprinkled with blood and adorned with a necklace of skulls and a belt of snakes. In Bengal in the past it was worshiped with offerings of human sacrifices.
